Another damn fine example. Released in late 2008, Charlie Parr puts together some amazing music. Somewhere between the dirty sound of some New Orleans stomp, some nice gritty back woods country and old ragtime stylings similar in vein to the finger picking of Jack Rose, this music comes into it's own. He stands apart with the records he's put out over the past 10 years and this is as much proof as anyone should need that Charlie Parr is a man worth a listen.
